In the beginning the high school year, Sasha was a transsexual and came out to the world as such. Sasha faced some difficult times but knew his family would support him and that music could aid. Jim and Sasha have become an official couple. They both have been performing at local open mics as well as at various local venues. The Voice's coaches avoided talking about Sasha's past, however Jim shared his life tale in a video introduction prior to the show. Sasha first started playing guitar when she was just six years old. They discussed their music tastes and told stories of how they first met. The musician was able to grasp the musical form faster since his father was a teacher. Sasha was a victim of identity problems in his youth, though he is a woman. In an Instagram post she recently shared the struggles he faced. Jim was filled with emotion when he shared the reasons he was not able to help through these challenging moments. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant was born a girl. Sasha Allen's age is expected to be 19 by 2021. Sasha was first exposed to transgender people during his first year in high school when he began to transition between male and female. "I'm the third transperson to ever appear on the show and I'm very excited to represent the trans community on such a massive platform," Sasha wrote on Instagram.
